'Third World Assassins': U.S. Medical Authorities Just Don't Get It, Do They?
Still another immigrant physician - this one in Texas with a history of sexually abusing female patients - has been sentenced to 10 years in state prison.
Doctor Donald Ozumba, age 45, was convicted Friday by a superior court jury on the felony of Aggravated Sexual Assault of an elderly person. According to the Collin County prosecutors, the case of Ozumba victimizing patients was the worst physician abuse case they had ever encountered.
According to the prosecution, at least 6 more sexual assault cases are pending against Ozumba, who was born and raised in Nigeria before immigrating to the United States.
Investigators discovered that the perverted MD had a clear pattern of abusing adult female patients beginning in early 2015. They said Ozumba, as an orthopedic surgeon, would routinely inject steroid medication into women's pelvic areas and then massage them between the legs and place his fingers inside them. They have the testimony of at least 13 women who have reported their own sexual assaults. Some women were sent sexually explicit emails from the doctor after the abuses.
Ozumba, whose clinic was located in the city of McKinney, had his medical license pulled by the Texas State Medical Board following his arrest last year.
