Doctor Convicted - He Was 'Curing' Gay Patients by Prescribing Gay Sex. Huh?


In the Canadian border city of Toronto a psychiatrist has been found guilty of luring his patients into homosexual liaisons in order to stop their gay cravings.

Yeah, you heard that right.

Doctor Melbyn Iscove, age 72, was convicted in a civil - not criminal - hearing, of having sexually abused two of his adult male clients, with the purported goal of curing them of their homosexual thoughts and feelings.

Both men - now in their 40's = testified before the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario committee for doctor discipline, regarding incidents which they say happened more than a decade ago. One reported that he began seeing the doctor when he was 18, He said the psychiatrist kept asking him about homosexual dreams. He said at the time he assumed that the doctor was sincerely trying to “cure my homosexuality”. He told the committee he and the doctor began their sexual relationship in 2007.

The other man reported that he started seeing Iscove when he was 23, and seeking counseling over his fear that he was gay. He said on their second encounter the doctor suddenly said, ‘You can touch me if you like’, and then took off his trousers. From that point forward, they engaged in sex at the doctor's clinic on about 10 different occasions.

Psychiatrist Iscove has had his medical license suspended, pending a final decision by the committee,
